Here is my challenge to your taxonomy
Dr. Levin,
Your taxonomy is limited to the -- how shall I say it -- EMPERICAL aspects of education. As you know, there is much more to teaching.
Let me draw an analogy. Infants can be fed, medicated, climated, and monitered -- but it is well documented that without out human touch, infants will be seriously developmentally disabled. As I recall, though I am not a professional, many die.
So,
In order for an educational system to be complete, it must adress the emotional as well as the empirical needs of the student. As a subset of communication, I suggest you have a file called educational emotional therapy. Sorry for the pop-psych. But, there you go.
