Design and Build a Web Page

The goal that I hoped to reach in this project was to be able to design and build a web page. My students to find articles and weekly assignments associated with their class would use the web page. I first designed the pages on paper and then the challenge was to build the site. I chose the software named Dreamweaver, which had a 30-day free trial offer.

The question was could I get it done in 30 days. I can tell you that it was a long process trying to learn the software by going to the HELP pull down and reading the tutorials, but it worked.
Some of my students have been using the site to pull magazine articles off of the links that I have provided. There are seven pages, which include my home page, four classes, photo gallery and a forum. The best way to view the site is on Netscape. I have some pages that will distort on servers such as AOL. The students seem to like the idea of their pictures and classes being on the web. Of course there are a few who could care less and would never touch the computer if not for me letting them know it is part of the class.
I learned a great deal about web pages and all the things that can be added to them to enhance their design.  I showed it to my fellow teachers and administrators here at the college and they have been impressed with the amount of information that I was able to incorporate into it.   I would like for you to visit my site and leave a message on my forum.   I will be evaluating my web page over the next semester to see how the students and parents respond to it.  Have a Great Day...
