Policies

Students, teachers and
other District 27 personal are required to read and sign the Acceptable
Use Policy (AUP) before using the computers and Internet. Parents
are given a copy of the AUP at the time of registration. They are
to read it with their child. Both should sign it. Teachers
are responsible for checking with the office and knowing who in their class
is not allowed to use the Internet or computers.
Northwest Policy
A student that is found
on an inappropriate web site should be reported to the principal as well
as being punished according to the following guidelines. (To date,
no student has had a major problem with following the computer rules.)
1st infraction - miss
one day of computer time
2nd infraction - miss
one week of computer time
3rd infraction - miss
one month of computer time
4th infraction - no
more computer time for the rest of the year
(If deemed necessary,
other punishment will be added at each level.)
