This handbook
was created for EdPsy490NET, a four-week summer course in the CTER
(Curriculum, Technology, & Education Reform) graduate program at the
University of Illinois. The focus of this handbook is Northwest
Elementary School, a K-6 building in Lincoln Elementary School District
27, where the author is a fourth grade teacher as well as the network administrator.
The purpose of the book is for the staff of Northwest to better understand
the local network as well as the Internet in general and to better use
technology in the curriculum.
