Objective:  Read, comprehend, summarize, and evaluate information stated in various texts using predicting, questioning, and inference skills.

Directions:
1.  Write a paragraph of atleast 7 sentences telling the plot of your book.  Be sure to give the title and autor in the introductory paragraph.

2.  Tell the setting of the story in at leassst 5 sentences.  Then tell why you wiould or would not like to live where the sotry takes place.

3.  Choose one character in the story and briefly describe this person.  Then write 5 questions that you would like to ask this character in order to understand the way he/she acted in the story.

4.  Think of all the books you have read in your life.  Would you rate this book in the top, middle or bottom of the list.  In at least 4 sentences, support your rating by discussing your preferences and explain how the book meets or fails to meet them in regard to such items as plot, character, and author's style.
