Challenging the taxonomy of education uses of technology

I found that it is very difficulty to challenge the taxonomy of education uses of technology. Basically, the categories of inquiry, communication, construction, and expression are board. It seems that there is no clear criterion for each different category. It makes me very confused how the subcategories have been classified.

According the subcategories on the article, I think that there is controversial between subcategories. For example: music editing and composing is in the expression category, on the other hand, it can be viewed as for the purpose of communicating with others. It seems that it is hard to tell the difference between expression and communication from this taxonomy.

I think that it will be better if for each category has a clear definition, then , according the definition to set up criteria for classification. Of course, it still needs empirical research to test it.
