One example of a challenge to the Bruce and Levin Taxonomy that I found was job search pages. Specifically, the monsterboard and jobdirect web pages challenge the taxonomy in the sense that they encompass more than one of the four components of inquiry, communication, construction, and expression. When looking at the taxonomy more closely, you can see how a job search page, such as monsterboard and jobdirect, not only allow for inquiry but also communication. Job search pages serve the function of data access, where they are connecting to the world of texts, video, data, specifically, job opportunities, company information, as well as other career-related information. In addition, these job search pages also serve the function of communicaiton, where users can email HR representatives of various companies and organizations in regards to job opportunities, etc.
