Technology Resources: Urbana has a District Technology Director, a District Technician, a High School Technology Coordinator, a Middle School Technology Coordinator, and a technology cadre leader at each elementary school My Activity pages Biographical Information: I am currently the Technology Coordinator at Urbana Middle School. My undergraduate degree in Secondary Education with a major in mathematics was completed in 1968. Since that time I have taught in several different locations and taken many technology related classes through the University of Illinois, the National Center for Supercomputing Applications, and our own district. I have received several technology related grants (Tried and True, Museum in the Classroom and Apple Education.) I also participated in several web based curriculum testbeds (RSE, Video Testbed, Chickscope, Biology Workbench and MapIT!) For the first time next year UMS will not have any regularly scheduled computer classes in our lab so all lab activities will be curriculum related.
