1. Tsui-Ju Chen, Bing Pan and myself all focus on university. And I found we have similar vision on the existence of corporeal university in the new century. I agree with Chen's points on peers' interaction as another key for successful learning and socialization, and with Pan's point of view on human's primordial need for physical interactions between persons, and between human and environment, now and future. While I fully agree with Chen that people have more choices to decide how to learn and what to learn due to the impacts of internet, I would think it might be still early to embrace Gerhard Casper's speculation that the universities will go back to the model of "pre-university Socratic gymnasium".
2. I found my vision is somewhat similar to
Bonnie Troesken's vision with regard to the continuation between today's
situation and that of the year 2020. The HRD program as an example given
by Bonnie is quite heuristic. Since I have not had chance to explicate
any necessary alertness in the technology uses in education, I appreciate
the "Warning" Bonnie presents to us.
