Key Question
Imagine you became a new parent today. You would certainly want the best  for your child - fresh air, clean water, lots of green space, good education, sufficient food and a roof over the head. If your child lives till 81, on her 81st birthday, it will be the year 2080. What will the world be like ?

What is the relationship between population size and quality of life ? Governments and scientists around the world are hotly debating the potential impact of rapid population growth on our quality of life. Some are worried that our earth's resources cannot sustain the population growth. They fear that the quality of the environment will degrade further and there would be insufficient food and energy resources to support the growing numbers.   Others see population growth as only a temporary problem with an end in sight. It will cap at a ceiling by the middle of the next century. More people to them represents more resources.

Which view do you support?
